I often get asked what type of lights I use inside the buildings. The best way I have found are 12v strip LED lights. They normally come on a roll (5m -10m) and usually can be cut with scissors 3 leds long. As they have the resistor built in they can be connected directly to a 12v supply. After soldering the power leads on I can check all is ok using a 9v battery. The leds are polarity sensative so check + to +, – to -.

When lighting up the inside of buildings you may want to consider fitting them out.
